The World Health Organization defines health as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity." This definition clarifies that well-being is not definited solely by physical health but rather, more broadly,
A life well lived.
Women Influencing Lives through Literature is a youth program begun in 2009 to help young ladies maintain focus on their goals and to promote lifelong literacy. It is a program founded upon the belief that to be happy, you need to be healthy, both emotionally and physically. WILL uses literature as a vehicle to explore topics that affect who we are and how we face challenges along our path to success. Through this approach, the program hopes to guide young women in their pursuits of productive, fulfilled lives.
